Hariharaprasad - Labor Day Trip

Places Visited:

Niagara Falls from USA side
Niagara Falls from Canada Side
New York

Hotels Stayed
Hotel Ramada, Bufallo
Sheraton suites on the
hudson, Hoboken, New Jersey

Hotel Review - Ramada
Ramada was pretty basic. Not very clean. But it is good for the price. I paid $59 per nigght for the queen size room ($10 lesser than internet price. I got this by calling the hotel directly). There is a Indian restaurant right inside the hotel. Decent food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available.

Hotel Review - Sheraton Suites
The Best hotel i have ever stayed that has the view of the NY Skyline from the hotel room. Visit their website. I got a king suite for the price of a twin suite. $200 per night. The hotel has a ferry that goes from the hotel to
Manhattan on weekdays and on weekends, they operate a shuttle that leaves you on Newyork Ferry services.

Places seen - Niagara-Canada Side:

Maid of the mist
Nightly Illumination
The Whirlpool Aero Car
White Water Walk
Journey Behind the Falls
Falls Night Fireworks
Butterfly Conservatory
Sky Wheel

Things i should have seen, but missed
Skylon Tower
imax (The US side of niagara also plays the niagara movie, but not in imax format, so dont miss this)

Places seen from US side
Goat Island

My take on which side is better: US Side is beautiful and Canada side is complete. If you have to miss canadian side because of visa reasons, you dont have to feel bad, you have not missed much. But if you have valid visa, you should visit
canada side, by getting canadian visa. The border officials dont issue visa on entry. So dont believe if someone says that they do issue.
